Regarding the recovery process of photos/videos which we notified you on October 10, the process was completed today.

For photos/videos which still have display problems, we are sorry for the inconvenience but please check each photo/video and upload them again according to the instructions here.

We deeply apologize for any inconvenience caused by this problem.


[Note added on October 10]

Due to the system failure between 8:44 of October 4 and 12:04 of October 5(UTC), we found out that some photos and videos which were uploaded to PlayMemories Online could not be displayed properly or were not uploaded completely.

Currently, the problem has been restored and photos/videos can be uploaded normally.

 

At the moment, we are in the process of recovering the photos/videos that were uploaded during the period with problems. We are fixing them one by one sequentially and ask for your patience. We estimate the recovery process to take around two weeks. We will notify you on this page once the process has been completed.

 

For photos/videos which were not uploaded completely, they will not display properly even after the recovery process has been completed. They will need to be uploaded again. We will notify you with instructions on how to upload the photos/videos once the process has completed.

 

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

We have been experiencing a failure which is causing our customers to be unable to normally upload photos and videos to PlayMemories Online since October 4 morning (UTC).

 

We are working on the investigating and fixing the problem.

Please wait until the system is recovered.
